Tips for Prepping Your Smoothie Bowls
Smoothie bowls don’t take a ton of time, but you can make your mornings run even smoother with some prep work.
Use Frozen Fruit
Either freeze your fresh fruit or buy packaged frozen fruit. If you have fruit about to expire, freeze it. The simplest way to prepare is to buy bags of mixed frozen fruit. Be sure to choose organic when you can.
Create Smoothie Packs
You can buy premade smoothie packs, but they are super simple and much more affordable if you make your own.
Add single-serving portions of your favorite fruits and veggies to individual freezer bags. In the morning, you just grab and go. Add your smoothie pack to your blender, your plant milk, or liquid of choice and any superfood powders.
What You Can Prep
You can even prep your favorite add-ins. Measure out your superfood powders, collagen powder, nuts, seeds, etc. and put in a container. Place it on the counter by your blender. In the morning, you just grab, blend and go.
Prepping your smoothie bowls saves time and energy, and really encourages you to make them more often.
