Lavender

Lavender is well known for its skin healing properties.  It can also be used to help soothe skin irritated by bug bites.  Lavender is a gentle oil and can usually be applied neat to troubled areas.  If you are new to essential oils, you might want to dilute the essential first in a carrier oil. If using on kids, you should always dilute essential oils.

No More Itchy Bug Bites Roller Ball Recipe

  • 5ml Roller Bottle⁣
  • 10 drops of Basil oil⁣
  • 5 drops of Peppermint oil⁣
  • 5 drops of Lavender oil⁣
  • Fill the remainder with FCO⁣

 

Essential oil recipe for bug bites

 

DIY Non-Toxic Bug Spray

  • 20-30 drops of TerraShield
  • 10 drops of Lemon oil
  • 10 drops of Eucalyptus oil
  • Add the above 2-3 oils to a 4oz glass bottle of distilled water with a few drops of FCO for moisture and shake before use.
