9 Easy Ways to Detox Your Body
Stop Eating Junk Foods to Detox Your Body
The first thing you need to do is STOP putting toxic food into your body. This step alone will significantly impact your body’s natural ability to detox itself.
Processed foods, fast foods and even restaurant foods are filled with chemical toxins, preservatives, rancid fats, and sodium, to name just a few.
If you live off of processed and fast foods, you may need to slowly transition to a more whole foods diet. Cutting everything out cold turkey doesn’t work for most people. Radical changes typically don’t last long.
Small, consistent changes usually have more effect. For an interesting read, check out The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy

Drink a Lot of Water to Detox Your Body
Your body needs lots of pure, clean water for many reasons, including hydration and detoxification.
Dehydration is detrimental to your health. And it causes premature aging. Learn more about the fascinating facts of hydration in Your Body’s Many Cries for Water.
Being well hydrated with clean water helps your body flush toxins. As your cells start to release toxins, you want to make sure they make their way out of your body. Drinking water is one of the most important ways to make that happen.
Dehydration also causes constipation. When your stool can’t leave your body, the toxins in the stool get reabsorbed back into your system.

Eat More Vegetables to Detox Your Body
Vegetables are powerhouses when it comes to detoxification. They’re loaded with nutrients that help your body to detoxify. Fiber is one of the nutrients that helps to grab onto toxins and escort them out of your body. It’s no secret, vegetables contain lots of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and antioxidants that all support healthy detoxification.
When you can, buy organic vegetables. Non-organic produce is heavily sprayed with toxic pesticides. You want to reduce your toxic load as much as possible. Be sure to thoroughly wash your produce, organic or non-organic.
Frozen vegetables often times have as much nutrition as fresh, so don’t be afraid to use frozen when needed. If you can, you still want to buy organic frozen vegetables.

Exercise to Detox Your Body
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, exercise is good for everything, right?
Movement helps your lymphatic system, which is very involved in detoxification. Movement helps your cells to release stored toxins. Sweating helps your body release toxins through your skin.
Exercise also helps to reduce stress. When you’re stressed, your body becomes more acidic and holds onto toxins.
Find a way to exercise and move your body in a way that feels good to you. If you hate or dread exercising, you’re less likely to do it on a regular basis. Find something you enjoy or a person you enjoy being with and do something fun together.
Rebounding on a trampoline is one of the best ways to activate your lymphatic system and detoxify your body. And it’s really fun, that is, unless you have a weak pelvic floor after having kids.
