We can’t talk about being outdoors in the spring without talking about gardening.  Gardening provides so many physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health benefits.

  • You’ll eat more veggies.  Homegrown veggies in organic soil are so much more nutritious and healthier for you than veggies that have been sprayed with industrial pesticides, picked before peak ripeness and shipped across the country.

  • You’ll feel less stressed.   Working with plants has numerous stress reducing and mental health benefits.
  • You’ll get sick less often.  The microbes in the dirt can boost your immune system.

      It truly is therapy! I wish I could convince my kids to get outside more often. Too much technology enticing them to stay indoors 🙁

    I love being outdoors unless it’s around allergy season and then I am always indoors. I am more of a summer person and not winter.
