Rosemary Vinaigrette
from Essential Oils Ancient Medicine
Makes 2-3 servings
Ingredients
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- extra-virgin virgin olive oil
- 1-2 drops rosemary essential oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Combine all ingredients in small bowl.
Rosemary Sun-dried Tomatoes with Feta
from Essential Oils Ancient Medicine
makes 2-3 servings
Ingredients
- 1 jar (5 ounces) sun-dried tomatoes, drained
- 4 ounces feta cheese
- 1 cup spinach
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 drop rosemary essential oil
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Sea salt
Instructions
- Place sun-dried tomatoes in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Crumble feta over tomatoes.
- Add spinach and toss.
- In a small bowl, whisk the olive oil, maple syrup, and rosemary essential oil.
- Drizzle the oil mixture over the tomato mixture and toss.
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and sea salt.
Rosemary-Lavender Soak
Ingredients
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 6 drops rosemary essential oil
- 6 drops lavender essential oil
Instructions
- Mix oils into Epsom salts and add to a hot bath.
- Soak for 20 minutes
Hair Mask
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons fractionated coconut oil
- 6 drops geranium essential oil
- 6 drops rosemary essential oil
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
- Apply to dry scalp with fingertips.
- Massage throughout scalp and hair.
- Allow mask to sit and penetrate for 30-60 minutes.
- Wash and style as usual.
Digestive Relief Roller Ball
Ingredients
- fractionated coconut oil
- 15 drops rosemary essential oil
- 10 drops lemon essential oil
- 5 drops peppermint essential oil
Instructions
- Add essential oils to a roller ball.
- Top off with fractionated coconut oil.
- Apply to lower abdomen and massage in a clockwise motion for 5 minutes.
- Repeat as needed.

My Personal Favorite Ways to Use Rosemary Essential Oil
To be honest, it took me quite a while to appreciate rosemary. The smell is very pungent to me, and I couldn’t think of any way I would want to use it. Once I discovered the perfect blends, I became a believer.
I mix a drop of rosemary and a drop of peppermint into my shampoo. I like to keep things uncomplicated. I open the bottles and put them by the shower. I squirt some shampoo into my hands, add the drops and wash as usual. The combination is cooling and refreshing. It really does perk you up. If you have a dry, irritated or itchy scalp, you will feel much better after using this combination.
I make a seasoned salt with rosemary, basil, and oregano. I start with 1-2 tablespoons sea salt and add 1 drop of each oil. I mix it really well and let it sit for a while. I use this salt to season meat, salad dressing, etc.
This is one of my favorite diffuser recipes: 2 drops each of rosemary, lemon, and peppermint. It smells refreshing, lightens my mood, and is fun to diffuse when you’re cooking.
