Why I Became a Health Coach
I have a meaningful and fulfilling career. I work in a neonatal intensive care unit helping to maximize the developmental outcomes of premature and fragile newborn babies. I support families during what is probably the most intense and stressful time of their lives. This work stretches me intellectually and emotionally. It is truly rewarding and valuable work.
My education in Occupational Therapy taught me how the body systems integrate and work together. I was trained to promote healing and restore function. As I developed in my profession, my curiosity for wellness continued to grow. I started to learn more and more about natural and alternative healing methods, and a new passion evolved. I was fascinated by the body’s ability to heal itself, given the right environment.
I want to be of service in a bigger way. I want to share this life changing information with the world! I want to promote healing on a much deeper level. I want to support families to promote healing from within, naturally and holistically. My training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and my passion for healthy living have allowed me to do this. I am truly grateful for the opportunities I have been given.
